General director of Infotech-Baltika M at the European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) meeting in Vienna
Infotech-Baltika M again took part in the annual EPCA meeting, held this year in Vienna. For 52 years EPCA has brought together the participants of the chemical market at its annual meeting: producers, traders, logistics and IT companies. The format is built around meetings and negotiations, discussion of prospective projects and of current cooperation.
At EPCA 2018 we held more than 30 meetings and negotiations with clients and with existing and potential partners.
Infotech-Baltika M is the only Russian tank container operator that, alongside its core business in Russia, actively develops international transport and can offer Russian and foreign clients a full range of services for shipping bulk liquids in tank containers, both within Russia and for export and import. Our tank containers work not only between Russia, Europe and China but also carry cargo to South America and other distant regions. Permanent stocks in the main European ports allow us to serve our partners quickly.
On the sidelines of EPCA, agreements were reached with major global players on joint projects to be carried out in 2019 and 2020.
We take part in EPCA not only to find partnerships for developing international business, but also to integrate our business into the global context, to share experience and knowledge, to learn about new technology and to understand what customers need. The chemical industry is developing quickly, trade flows and prices change, but the need of every participant for high-quality and safe logistics stays the same.
We also see it as our mission to improve the image of Russian transport business abroad. In our presentations and negotiations we emphasise our advantages as a Russian company: not only a significant tank container fleet and unique experience, but flexibility combined with a creative approach, which gives us grounds to expect a growing share of the world tank container market. Five thousand tank containers of Infotech-Baltika M are ready for new tasks, above all serving import and export flows between Russia and the wider world.
